Dawn Barendse is the Managing Director of The Legal Catalyst and specialises exclusively in the creator economy. She built The Legal Catalyst with a clear purpose – to give creators the legal clarity and confidence they’ve rarely received from traditional legal services. As the law hasn’t kept up with the realities of digital work, Dawn focuses on legal solutions, not generic advice – tailored to how creators, influencers, agencies and digital entrepreneurs actually operate. With a deep understanding of content, rights, brand deals and platforms rules, she translates complex legal issues into simple, actionable protection for creators across South Africa.
